Yamaichi trans-logi Co., Ltd. is a transportation and warehouse service provider based in Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture. Established in 1974, Yamaichi trans-logi Co., Ltd. has been developing with the local paper industry. We currently own about 120 automobiles, most of which are heavy trucks, and we specialize in transportation of paper-manufacturing-related products, home delivery packages, automobile parts and special passenger cars. We transport goods mainly to the Kanto and Kansai areas as well as areas in between. Our amount of work is stable because we take transportation orders directly from paper manufacturers and logistics providers, not through a broker.

As for our warehouse business, we own a total of seven warehouses in Fuji where our business is based. We have about 20 lift operators working there. We have a permit from Nagoya Customs as a bonded warehouse and can handle the storage of cargos from overseas. We can also load goods in containers on cargo ships. At this time, we are going to recruit new truck drivers on the following conditions for further expansion of our business.

Recruiting Job Type

• Heavy truck driver
  (You will be driving a large wing body truck to transport goods from Fuji to the Kanto area.)
• Approximate Annual Income :
  4,200,000 to 5,800,000 yen plus bonuses
  (total amount before tax deductions)
• Goods to transport : Paper-manufacturing-related products
  (roll paper, paperboard, wood pulp, baled waste paper, etc.)
• Approximate Daily Travel Distance : 450 km to 600 km

Content of work

• We transport products of major paper manufacturers.
• Your transportation route will be mainly from Fuji to the Kanto area. However, we may ask you to transport goods to the Chukyo and Tohoku areas.
• You will be running a truck five days a week from Monday through Friday. We may ask you to work on Saturdays as well.
• Goods are usually loaded or unloaded by a warehouse lift operator, but we may ask you to load or unload cardboard cartons manually.
• After loading goods, you will be required to fix them firmly so that they will not collapse in transit.
• Immediately after joining us, you will be required to learn how to load goods and how to fix them from a veteran driver.

Workflow on a Typical Day

You will have your truck loaded with goods the day before the date of delivery in Fuji and set out from the company late at night.

Before you leave, we will check you for alcohol to make sure that you are not going to drive drunk. You are to leave only after that.

You will deliver goods to a customer's warehouse early in the morning, and then you will load multiple goods and deliver them to customers in Fuji in the evening.

After the delivery, you will have your truck loaded with goods to be delivered in Fuji the next day. That will complete your day's work, and you can go home after that.

Qualifications and Requirements

• ✔ Having a driver's license for heavy vehicles.
• ✔ Qualified to stay in Japan permanently.
• ✔ Capable of communicating in Japanese.
• ✔ Capable of reading a map.
• ✔ You must never drink alcohol at work or when commuting.
• ✔ Capable of driving safely and carefully so that goods will be delivered to customers safely without being damaged.
• ✔ Being cooperative and not selfish. Never have trouble with your colleagues.
